Detailed reference on QuickSight roles

I’m struggling to find a detailed reference on the difference between the reader and author roles.

For example: can a reader see ingestion details of a dataset?

Hi,

No, he cannot. He just use the analysis to view data.
He cannot see the the datasets until you share with them.
