I have my data partitioned by CustomerID, year, month, day in parquet.
When I direct query the data using Athena for a specific time range does Quicksight make use of the partitions just querying the data for specified dates or does it query all the data?
I’m interested because of the cost impact and performance when I will have many years worth of data in the data lake.
