I want to add a drop-down menu for one of the columns in the table on QuickSight. How can I do it?

Have you tried setting up a filter or a parameter controlled filter?
With these, you can setup a drop-down menu based on the column (or field) that you’d like to filter your table by.
If you are looking to accomplish something different, please share some additional information on what you are looking to achieve and provide screenshots if possible.

I added a parameter based on the ‘stage’ from the database, created a drop-down menu using ‘Format Control’, and added the parameter I created. Then, I added a rule ‘if stage_param equals stage_I_want, then show this visual’. When I select the desired stage on the drop-down menu, the table shows up, and when I select other options, the visual is hidden. However, What I want is when I select one or more stages, I want the tables to be filtered based on the parameter I selected on the drop-down menu. So rather than hiding or showing visual, I want to trigger a filter on the same table. Is there a way to do this?
