I’d like to embed a dashboard in confluence however the docs say that anonymous URLs last for max 10 hours.
Is there a way to embed them without expiration?

The maximum session life time is 10 hours. Probably you can check from the application perspective if a page refresh can be triggered after x hours.

@Koushik_Muthanna So the URL will continue to work as long as the page its embedded in is refreshed every 10 hours?
@TheOfficialYakultMas As I understand, when the entire page is refreshed the application would make be making an API call to QuickSight to get the dashboard url and render it.
If your audience on Confluence is registered QuickSight users, it might be better to use 1-click sharing with registered user instead of anonymous URLs. This allows embedding both visuals and dashboards on Confluence with iframe-based embed code. You’ll need manually extract the src from the embed code.
If you are on Confluence Cloud, things could be even easier by copying and pasting the embed code into the Amazon QuickSight Connector for Confluence app (disclaimer: I wrote the app) and follow the easy step-by-step instruction in its Quick Start guide to embed dashboards or visuals from QuickSight.
