I would like to duplicate a dataset in order to make some significant changes to it. I want to use the new dataset in a new analysis/dashboard so that only the requestor can view (and validate) the changes before deploying the changed dataset to all of the users. The dataset has row level security on it, and I don’t want to drop RLS just to duplicate the dataset. It seems to be artificial restriction on duplicating datasets. Can QS be enhanced so that authors can duplicate datasets that have RLS enabled. Here’s the message that prevents me from duplicating the dataset.

As this limitation is in place so that there are no issues with the dataset potentially changing based on RLS rules so there’s no direct way to bypass this.
The only work around that comes to mind that could assist in this case would be to try and export your dataset and then try re-uploading it.
