I get the following error when using the default “Quick Suite’s OAuth application” authentication type:
1 validation error detected: Value at ‘authenticationConfig.authenticationMetadata.authorizationCodeGrantMetadata.authorizationCodeGrantCredentialsSource’ failed to satisfy constraint: Member must satisfy enum value set: [PLAIN_CREDENTIALS, DYNAMIC_REGISTRATION] RequestId: 79538fb4-a42b-478f-984b-b623365dffe8
I get this error with both microsoft teams and outlook integrations. I was able to do the jira and the canvas integration without a problem
The error you’re encountering indicates a validation issue with the OAuth authentication configuration when using Quick Suite’s default OAuth application for Microsoft Teams and Outlook integrations.
The specific error message you’re seeing about PLAIN_CREDENTIALS and DYNAMIC_REGISTRATION suggests there may be a configuration mismatch with how the default OAuth option handles Microsoft integrations compared to other services like Jira and Canvas. The standard approach for Microsoft integrations is to set up your own Azure App Registration rather than relying on a default authentication method, which should resolve this validation error.
If the error continues after trying out these steps, then I would recommend reaching out to the support team by submitting a support ticket. Refer to this resource on how to submit a ticket (Case management - AWS Support).
