Error while granting access to Dataset

I am getting below error while granting access to an user to a dataset.

Error Reason: invalid parameter
Message: Asset permissions can’t be replicated. Please give Owner or Viewer permission instead.

The dataset is a simple sql. However after this message the particular user has access to the dataset. But, the user not listed as owner even after having owner access.

is this a bug??

1/ You can share a dataset with a user who is either an Author or Admin.
2/ You cannot share the dataset with a reader.

the member I am trying to share the dataset is one of the admin.

Hello for this particular issue. I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further.

Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf.
