hi, there is no export to excel option in quicksight.. may i know how can i export to excel or csv

Hi @suvarna0212

You can export the data to excel from table visuals. The other visual types would have export to csv options.

Can you provide specific details of your case?

i have a table visual and when clicking on export button its showing me this.. only print or export to pdf.. and not excel..

Hello @suvarna0212 ,

you need to highlight the visuals to be able to export to excel or CSV provided that is enabled by the author while publishing the analysis to dashboard.

The top icon on the dashboard page to export , it works for all the visuals in the dashboard which may contain all types of visuals and if you have scheduled the dashboard to be exported to excel/csv, you would see there as view export.

I see this helps.. thanks.. may i understand if dataset is retrieving 100 rows but after filter i get 20 only.. i do export to excel.. the excel would have 20 or 100?

Hi @suvarna0212

The output will be what the visual is showing; i.e. the filtered rows. So, if you applied a filter and the result is 20 rows and you export the visual content at this stage you will only get 20 rows.

You can easily verify this by experimenting this in your analysis.
