Due to security and administrative purpose , currently I have used a custom-permission to disable create/update datasources option for Authors. But I’m receiving requests from my users to enable “Upload to file” option in our environment. Is there anyway to allow to use file upload option alone but not to expose other datasource options (Like Athena,Google Big-query,MySQL etc.) ?
HI Karthikeyan, Unfortunately we don’t have a way to enable just “Upload to file” option at this moment. But we keep introducing new features frequently, please check whats new on QuickSight for new feature announcements. Thanks
Ok. Can we use AWS CLI to create datasets through file upload ? Unfortunately I’m not able to find that option in your userguide
Then I think I can create a script to create datasets by uploading files from user’s local storage.
