Hello,
Using the calculated field for date filtering.
As you can see, the date is January 31, yet it is still filtering until January 31. Why is that?

Hello @Vaibhav.narwade ,
Under the ‘Date Released’ filter, could you please check whether the ‘Include End Date’ checkbox has been checked?
Hello @tdr_Dinesh,
Please keep in mind that I am filtering the data using a calculated field for the information you need. Since I have multiple date fields that are connected with other fields, I am unable to add a visual-level date filter. Instead, I need to use a calculated field.
Please assist me with just the calculated field.
Thank you!

Vaibhav Narwade.
If you can clarify a bit more on the problem may be we can comment.

Giri
Hello @Giridhar.Prabhu ,
As you can see from the snapshots, I have used a calculated field. I applied a filter for the dates from January 1 to January 31.
However, in the snapshot, you will notice that the distinct count in the table does not display a value for January 31.
Please refer to the snapshot above in the chat for clarification.
If the end date is selected, then January 31 should be included in the table.

Vaibhav Narwade.
Hi @Vaibhav.narwade,
It’s been awhile since last communication took place on this thread, were you able to find a work around or are you still working on this case?
If still working on this;
In response to the comments made prior; Giri had asked which of the fields in your first visual is the calculated field used for (‘ItemRevision’, ‘Obsoleted Parts for DC’ or ‘Obsoleted Parts for Group’)..could you please share which field that is for? And are the other 2 fields regular or are they also calculated fields?
Additionally, you said you applied a filter for the dates, please share a screenshot of the filter you setup.
Thank you
Hello @Brett ,
Thank you for your mail.
“Item Revision” is a direct Field
“Obsoleted parts for DC” and “Obsoleted parts for group” are the calculated fields,
As per the previous discussion with @Giridhar.Prabhu,
I limit the field until 31 Jan 2025
But as you can see in the snapshot, the data is filtered until 30 Jan 2025.
I need to include January 31, 2025, when filtering for that date.

Vaibahv Narwade.
a. Are you doing any timezone Conversions in the analysis? Is it possible that timezone differences may be causing a problem?
b. Trun truncating the Date Released, $StartDate, $EndDate (truncDate(‘DD’, Date Released) and see if that resolves the issue.
Hi @Vaibhav.narwade,
Following up here as we have not heard back further since the last post, are you still working on this case?
If we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll close out this topic.
Thank you!
Hello @Giridhar.Prabhu ,
I have set the time zone to India/Kolkata.
Will this affect anything?
Best,
Vaibhav Narwade.
