Feature Request: Add a "Request Access" button to the Request Dashboard

Currently, to gain access to the Request Dashboard, users must first find out who the owner is and then reach out to them directly. This can be a cumbersome and time-consuming process, especially for new users or those who are unfamiliar with the organization’s structure.

Can Quicksight Add a “Request Access” button to the Request Dashboard that users can click to submit a request for access, the owner will receive an email that someone makes an request.

Hello @jjc, and thank you for tagging me on this @Sanjeeb2022, this is a great idea and I have updated the tags on this topic to ensure the feature request reaches the support team.

Since this functionality is not currently available in QuickSight, I would suggest utilizing folders to manage sharing resources in QuickSight. If you have folders set up for specific roles/job titles, then when you onboard a new employee, you can share everything with their account at once. This will be the best way to simplify the process while also having a clear and documented structure of your QuickSight assets.

Let me know if you have any further questions, otherwise I will archive this topic for our support team. Thank you!
