Can we make the filter dropdown from visible to invisible and vice versa at the time of viewing of report in Quicksight?

or

Can we make the filter dropdown which is single select to multiselect at the time of viewing of report according to permission access?

you can hide/show a visual based on a parameter value.

In both cases you would need to set value within the parameter (by selection or default based on user).

Thanks @ErikG. i will apply this logic also but is this control (contact name ) on sheet or can i pass parameter in rule value ?

You can use any parameter in your rule, it does not need to be an on sheet control. Did you have any additional questions on this case?
