Filtering control to show only relevant values, not "All" in the dropdown

Hi there,

I’m currently trying to figure out if it is possible to show only relevant values of the dropdown instead of showing “All”. The dataset I’m using is configured on SPICE. I thought when I published the dashboard, that would remove the “All” selection but it doesn’t seem to be the case.

I also enabled the “Hide Select all option from the control values if the parameter has a default configured”, but the parameter that enables the cascading filter will have a different variation of outputs, therefore, I can’t select one default value.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If your parameter is single value, you can add a default like “Please select a value”

If it is has multiple options this does not work becuase if they select a value but they don’t deselect the previous value it will look like this.

Can you tell me more about what are the variations of the outputs for the default? Maybe you can use dynamic defaults if this depends on the user?
