Lets suppose as on 20th of a given month total sales for a product X is 2000 units. If I want to find a liner trend, i.e., projections based on Days Over & Remaining days would be 3000 units. How do I create this?
In this example, its month, but it could be for any period based on the aggregation of period(month/QTR/Year) for a given visual type (say Bar/Line Chart).
do you have a specific formula on how to calculate the projections?
or you can use the QuickSight ML powered forecast feature. you can refer to this document.
