is subfolders inherit its parent folder permissions by default, meaning If I want certain users will be able to access the subfolder from a larger group of users.
for example subfolder BBB has to be access by users A1 and A2, while its parent folder, AAA, is accessed by A1,A2,A3 and A4.

Hi @amico it works the opposite way. All subfolders inherit the permissions of the parent folder (plus whatever you add to the subfolder permissions). You could make two subfolders under the parent, and give A1, A2 access to the parent and then give A3, A4 access to the second subfolder. Then when Userse A3 and A4 visit, they will see the Parent folder and subfolder 2, but not subfolder 1.
