Geospatial Heatmap

Hi All,

I have little bit problem for using geospatial heatmap. So I want to create one for Singapore based on population fields per area. But seems the geospatial heatmap will turn off the other fields and only make “Geospatial” field wells available, while the other fields will be disabled.
Below is my questions regarding Geospatial heatmap:

  1. Is there any way to put my population field as the density in geospatial heatmap?
  2. What is the based for density in geospatial heatmap?
  3. Is it possible to set the min and maximum number for density in the geospatial heatmap? Because I didn’t find any formatting for setting the number.

Will appreciate any help!

  1. Yes you should be able to add that as the color.

  2. That would be determined by you. You might need to calculate area etc.

  3. Yes you can add that via filters.

Thank you so much for your reply but unfortunately I can’t use color because of heatmaps. Please see the picture, it will encounter error “Color can’t be used for heatmap”. If it’s heatmap it will works but the geospatial heatmap not works.

Hi @Max ,

Then back to my question, may I know where is the density color coming from?
Because I look at the documentations I didn’t get anything

Do you have other geospatial fields? Can you test it with them?

I’m wondering if you can’t add it when you have lat and long.

@Max I did tried to use “Country”, “Postal Code” it still gonna block the color and size
