Get error message "CONNECTION_LIMIT_EXCEEDED"

Running a dashboard one of the many panes on the screen displays an error with the header “CONNECTION_LIMIT_EXCEEDED” and the text “This query exceeds the connection limit. Contact your data source administrator for assistance.”

The author brought this to me, an administrator. I can’t find anything about this error message in the documentation or support forums. Does anyone know what it means or what we can do get past it?

If it matters, the data source is Redshift and there are no problems on any of the other panes on the screen.

I would recommend to create AWS support ticket so that our support engineers will be able to check the logs assist further on this.

Here are the steps for opening a support ticket - Creating support cases and case management - AWS Support . If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf
