Handling Errors in Unique Value Computation in Amazon QuickSight

I’m experiencing an issue when using unique value computation in QuickSight.
When the number of unique values reaches or exceeds 1,000, an error appears:
“There were too many distinct categories found to be correctly computed.”

I tried applying a workaround shown in the attached image, but the error still occurs.

Do you have any tips or recommended ways to handle this issue?

I’m surprised there’s a limit on that and its that low. I would suggest pre-calculating this and then bringing it into the insight visual.
