I currently have a system where QuickSight connects to Snowflake using username/password. However, Snowflake now requires MFA for username/password authentication, so I’m considering switching to key pair authentication (using a private/public key pair). I haven’t found any documentation guiding how to update an existing data source or create a new one for this method; I only see guides for OAuth. So, my question is: Has QuickSight supported key pair authentication for Snowflake? If not, when is it expected to be supported?

Amazon QuickSight currently supports username and password. I will add key pair authentication as a feature-request for the Amazon QuickSight team
