Is there a way to user a filter action in a highcharts panel as in a normal bar chart, with interactions??

Currently the filter options for the highchart visuals are limited so this is currently not available. I’ve attached a blog below that dives deeper in to the creation of highcharts and includes the current limitations towards the bottom:

We are also interested in this feature.

We’d like to be able to select/click a points in highcharts and send that selected data to a QS visual or use it in an action (for navigation).

This would key functionality to help unlock more interactivity with the high charts visuals.

I’ve managed to perform the filter action after adding a filter action in the Quicksight interactions >>> action section and adding this code to the Highcharts chart.

      "events": {

      "click": [

        "triggerClick", {"rowIndex": "point.index"}

      ]

      }

It would be helpful to have documentation on QuickSight custom event syntax options for Highcharts interactions from the AWS/Quicksight Team.
