I would like to confirm in Quicksight here, i was using quicksight’s new highcharts in order to show formatted (HTML) data in a visual, the example #13 from DemoCentral samples page does not include a cart code (JSON validity) for Highcharts version 11.4.6.
**how would we need to format the code for a custom dataset that contains different strings? The dataset integration is through a file in a S3 bucket. What’s the best way to show strings from the dataset into the highcharts? It is recommended to use instead multiple files?
Is possible to apply quicksight filters to the highcharts, so based on the filter value will show one or other string?**
While I did not receive any text immediately, after applying a filter to the visual (to limit down to one row), I was able to populate the expected text.
For your question regarding how to handle different strings; does this mean you have text in different fields and are trying to pull that text from various fields depending on another selection that’s made?
The best/easiest way to handle would be if all of your string text was located within the same field, that way you can use one field in your visual and then filter it down based on selection.
Let me know if there’s any further clarification that I might be missing to assist further.
