How can Amazon QuickSight help analyze sales and marketing performance for a custom products business?

I run an online business called Express Canopy, where we sell custom pop-up tents, logo tents, trade show displays, banner stands, and other event branding products across the USA.

We’re looking for a better way to visualize sales, customer trends, and marketing performance. Can Amazon QuickSight connect with data from platforms like Shopify, Google Analytics, or Excel to build dashboards for revenue, top-selling products, and campaign performance?

If anyone has used QuickSight for an eCommerce or custom manufacturing business, I’d appreciate your recommendations and best practices.

Hi @chatboxwilliams and welcome to the community!

Yes, you are looking in the right direction, Quick Sight is a good fit for what you want to do. It can work with data from Excel and Shopify, and while Google Analytics is not a direct connection, there are easy ways to bring that data in too. Once your sales and marketing data is connected, you can build dashboards for things like revenue, top-selling products, campaign performance, etc. without much fuss.

Here’s some official AWS documentation about data sources:

Hope this helps!
