How Can Copy the same report to another folder and point to different schema in same account

Hi All,

I have built a few quicksight dashboards using Redshift db And I have multiple schemas under the same Redshift cluster, now If I want to create 2 folders in my quicksight account, keep the same dashboard in it, so folder Dev will connect to the dev-db schema and folder test-db will connect to test schema.

Can anyone help me to do that?

you could duplicate the analysis/dashboard and replace the dataset(s). But you need to make sure datasets are the same (100%).

do you mean, I have to create the new dataset with the test-db schema again and then that dataset I have replaced in the copied analysis ??

I there any automatic way to do that ??

It’s been awhile since last communication took place on this thread, were you able to find a work around for your case or did you have any remaining questions?

I believe you would need to setup a datasource in QS for each schema (one for dev-db and one for test-db). Once that’s connected, you can create a copy of your analysis, replace with the proper dataset and save in to your specified folder.
