I want to search by a partial string in the search box by comma separated. But for some reason I can’t search by partial string, I have to input the entire string value in the text box to search for. Is there a way to just search by partial string?
Here are the steps I did
I created parameter with Multiple values and setup up the control to TextField -multiline with comma
Added the filter to that parameter with FilterType Custom Filter with Filter condition ‘Equals’.
I can’t use ‘contains’ here because of Multi value is compatible with eauals/not equals.
When I tried to search by partial field values in the text field, I’m seeing empty, NO data.
Hello @sribaji, in regards to your exact use-case, there is not alternative functionality. Once you switch to a multi-value parameter, you immediately lose a lot of functionality available in terms of the filtering capabilities. What if you switched to a drop down select rather than a text field to grab the values you want for your filter? That might work better for this scenario.
