Thanks for raising it up , looks like index creation step got stuck . Index creation will take additional time on high cardinality columns and Direct Query datasets. Please find more details in the below post on optimizing index creation time.
But in this case of smaller dataset (14K) would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further.
Here are the steps to open a support case - Creating support cases and case management - AWS Support 1. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account.
They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf.
If you could ping me Account Id , Topic Id & region separately will also check with internal team and to check the logs & analyze it further.
