How to achieve this layout in QuickSight

Can we achieve this type of structure in Quicksight ?

Hello @bhumika18s, I suppose it will depend on how your data is formatted, but this type of layout is possible when utilizing pivot tables in QuickSight. By setting the table to a tabular layout, and placing certain fields as rows and columns, you should be able to mimic this view in an analysis.

I created a quick example in Arena that you can view. This will allow you to see the settings I used and the way I built the pivot table:

We won’t have the same data, but the ideas can then be applied to the data you are utilizing. Let me know if this helps!

thank you so much. this is helpful when we have same set of data which needs to be displayed across different dimension. But i need to display different data for each column and heading might also change. so i don’t think i can use pivot table.

can somebody tell how can we do this ?

Hello @bhumika18s, I am not sure I entirely understand the issue. Do you mean that English, Science, and Maths are all different fields in your dataset? Do you have a field that is returning values of Marks and Prior Month? If not, are those just supposed to show the results for the current month and last month? That is something we could probably work-around, but I could really use more information about how your data is formatted to provide you with any insight.

Also, if you want that grouped column header, then we will definitely need to find a way to show this in a Pivot Table. That is going to be the only way to achieve the output that you are expecting.

Hello @bhumika18s

Were you able to find a solution to this or are you still working on it?

Also, were you able to look into @DylanM 's question above?
