In this example, how would you add markers (round points or circles) based on a date inside the bars? I’ve tried adding another series of data (type scatter) but because the “map” and “unique” is not possible. Please help!

If your intent is to mark some generic milestones along the timeline, we can add reference lines using the x axis plotLines option. See below screenshot. If this doesn’t work, please explain your use case further and I will look into this more closely in the coming week.
