Hi, I am using a table visual to visualize data in a database table. I need to create headers for a specific group of columns. How can I do that ?
Many thanks !
Hi @ducph7,
Can you try using the Pivot Table visual type instead of the Table visual type? This will give you a clearer picture of the grouping.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi @Biswajit_1993 - I am trying to solve a similar problem using Pivot table visual. I have more than 70 columns and want to create 10 custom groupings (just like Header 1, Header 2 in the above example) with an additional capability to allow users to expand and view the columns under each group. Do you know if I can do that in Quicksight?
Hi @hprem,
To my understanding, that capability is not currently possible in Quick Sight as you can create your own groupings, but not expand it to see columns of fields that you’ve grouped within them.
@ducph7, following up to see if you have any additional questions? If we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll close out this topic.
Thank you!
I’ll go ahead and close out this topic. However, if either of you have any additional questions, feel free to create a new topic in the community and link this discussion for relevant information if needed.
