How to display the last month sales of an item by selecting date as today

I want to display the last month sales of an item and date in filter may be selected any date
As per below screenshot

Hi @manideep1

You can create three calculated fields one each or Today, This Month and Last Month. While you don’t have a Period based calculations the link below shows you how to setup the Calculated fields. In your visual the date will not be filtered directly. It would rather be the Calculated fields that will determine values to display based on the date filters in them

Period Over Period and Other Date Comparison Calculations (YoY, MoM, YTD, Rolling 90 days, etc)

Often you may want to create tables and other visuals which display multiple fields that are all ‘filtered’ to different date periods, as well as period-over-period fields. However we can’t use normal filters for this since filters get applied to all fields in the visual. Conceptually in this solution we are building the filters directly into the calculated field itself (using the ifelse logic), so that each field can have a different ‘filtered’ time period. If i use the above logic for last month, and when i use the date filter the value gets 0,
but it shouldn’t change

Hi @manideep1

You should use the dates to filter values in the Calculated field. On your visual don’t apply any date filter. If you do then the data itself will be filtered only for the date range you have selected.

The main purpose of putting the date condition in the calculated field is to enable you to get values for different time periods in different calculated fields.

I understood that if we apply date filter in the report then last Month column value will be displayed as per date filter .
