How to have users with owner's permission (instead of the creator) to update a dataset that was created by 'upload a file'

If a dataset was created by ‘upload a file’ and shared with owner’s permission to other users, it seems impossible to let users with owner’s permission to update the dataset.
If it is created by a query, users with owner’s permission can edit the query and refresh the dataset.
This seems to be a bug of QuickSight

Hi Yang, the join editor in dataset is shown only when user have access to underlying QuickSight data source. However, in case of file there is no option to share file source.

That been said, this requirement will be relaxed by end of Q2’2022. After that the user who have owner permission will be able to make changes to the dataset you described.
