I have a table which contains approximately 20 columns, however based on the requirement user wants to hide few columns. As of now, I have not seen this option. Is there any other possibilities to achieve this? Could you please assist?
EX: Consider the column headers are A to T, sometimes user wants to hide column G H & I and some time they may want to hide other columns like A & K.
I also had the request once and then built the workaround that the users had to decide how many columns they wanted and could then determine the content accordingly.
I would also second this feature request. We are encountering similar challenges where we’d like to have flexibility in allowing a user viewing a published dashboard the ability to show/hide columns in a table, for an embedded dashboard.
We are looking to support simple tabular reporting as a replacement for our apps current custom ad hoc reporting capabilities, with the desire for custom filters and user specific columns they can modify and preserve (ideally through bookmarking).
Runtime filtering helps us solution some user specific filtering, however not being able to change what fields are shown or hidden on a table is a feature gap. Tables in published dashboards need a bit more flexibility for customization.
Can this be raised as a feature request to the QuickSight team?
