We are migrating analyses/dashboards between two different QuickSight accounts using CLI.
How can we migrate the Spice data, so we can continue the incremental refresh?
Hi @rstoyanova - This is an interesting question. I doubt it is possible . as a work around, possible you may need to create analysis ( table format) and export the data as csv. If you have huge amount of data, you may need to put filters and then export files and then import to new system.
Hi @DylanM @duncan - Any other suggestion from your side.

Hi @Sanjeeb2022, thank you for your reply, but this is not a solution for our case - our amount of data is huge, and we can not extract the result as files.
SPICE is storing only a snapshot of your data , your backend data source in the single source of truth. There is no migration of SPICE data possibility.
If we consider scenario of migrating from Account A to Account B
You can create a dataset programatically in your target QuickSight account (Account B ) that will connect to your existing backend data source. Ingest data into this new dataset and configure incremental refresh.
Once complete and validated at your end, you remove the SPICE dataset ( Account A ) and stop any data ingestion processes into that dataset.
I will be marking this as solved.
