How to remove NULL from controls/parameter drop down?

I have defined a parameter/control that pulls a set of values in a drop down.
However this list contains NULL as well.
I tried creating a filter to remove this NULL, but it still shows up in the drop down for the control parameter.
How do I remove NULL from the drop down?

Can you try filtering the dataset to get rid of nulls or do you need them in your dataset?
