How to replace the excel file in quicksight?

Hi,

I used to replace the excel file by creating a new dataset everytime and it is difficult for me to replace the file and also some time new dataset is no able to visualize, which is showing “missing field” but every field is available in my file.

Please help me to automate this process of excel file replace or give some tips like how to make this process easy?

Hi @hripraa
why “creating a new dataset”? You can just update the Excel file. As long as the structure isnt changing there should be no issue.
You also could upload the Excel into S3, use S3 as datasource and update the file within S3.

Yes, I try to update the file but sometimes all the data in the dashboard showing “Missing field” and data is not updated.

Do you have any video reference for connecting s3 bucket? or any other source.

I want to try this s3 connection instead updating the file.

Help me with any videos for this.

When I try to connect with s3 bucket, below error exist.
We cannot find or cannot access one or more of the buckets listed in the manifest. Follow the instructions atManaging Amazon QuickSight Permissions to AWS Resources to grant QuickSight permissions to that Amazon S3 bucket.
