I am developing a report using a pivot table visual. Just to confirm, there is not direct individual cell formatting correct? For example, I would like some values shown as percents to be italicized. I am not looking to hard code values. Within this report I would like to also add headers/color block lines. I am trying to do this without overlaying because some color blocks I want are very tiny and it seems QS cannot go that far.
Hi @mitoo,
In terms of styling cell values, you can setup conditional formatting rules but unfortunately, changing the format of the font is not one of the options available. You can change cell or text color, or add an icon based on the rule you set.
In regards to the headers/color block lines. Not sure if this is exactly what you’re looking to do but you can add thicker lines and adjust the color in the ‘headers’ drop down section:
Additional pivot table formatting options would be a great improvement to the current visual options so I’ll mark this as a feature request to promote visibility to the support team!
Thanks for getting back to me! As for the header/color blocks, I’m looking to add a line between rows such as a line break. I would want to split up my values in sections but not necessarly apply this border to every row. Is there a way to add a border/ line break to just one row?
