The end in mind is to provide a currency symbol for an amount field. We have the currency code in the data as a separate field. With thousands of daily transactions that are not denominated in US$, we need show on our dashboards, the currency symbol. We’ve been waiting for 5+ years for currency formatting. It dawned on me that we could use conditional highlighting to get around the lack of currency formatting.
Hi @cgreenacre,
When you click on the ellipses next to the field you’re trying to show as a currency, do you not receive the options like shown below for various currency options? Is this what you’re looking to achieve?
That works if all your data is of one currency. We can have three transactions in the same minute, one with Japanese Yen, a second with the Euro, and third with the CA dollar. Hi @cgreenacre,
Understood. Since this is currently not an available option, I’ll mark this as a feature request to provide additional visibility to our support team.
Thank you!

It’s been awhile since we last heard from you; while I’ve marked this as a feature request already, did you have any additional questions?
If we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll go ahead and close out this topic.
Thank you!
