Is it possible to connect to an OLAP cube over a VPN with Quicksight?

I’m in a situation where we need to connect to a cube of a partner and develop a visualization based on it. The problem is that, to currently access the cube we have to do it over VPN (provided by our partner) and I also don’t see any option to connect a cube on QuickSight. Is there any way to do this and I missing it or is it just impossible?
