Is it possible to create a dashboard based on multiple datasets, but not actually joining the data

I want to create a dashboard which shows many different metrics for different areas. I have all these metrics in different datasets / reports, which are all in different datasets. I want to have them all in one as a summary dashboard, so we can review weekly.

I want to create a report which uses data for 3-4 different datasets, but i don’t want to join the actual data together. I just want access to all the data in one place, but making sure that they are split between their own datasets.

Is this possible?

Hi @HarveyB-B - I believe you can do it. You can add data set in the analysis by the below way and then create your analysis with selected data sets. Please give a try.

Hi there, thanks for the response.

I’ve tried this just now and is close to what i need, but is it possible to have the data from different datasets on the same sheet?

When i try it looks like i can only do a sheet for each dataset within the same analysis. But realistically i want all the KPI’s from different datasets in one sheet.

Hi @HarveyB-B - I think it is possible, you can add visual in the sheet and select the visual and change the data set. Give a try. I will also check from my side and update you.

Hi Sanjeeb,

i tried this morning and thankfully it worked. You can create visuals for one dataset, and then select a different dataset which then pulls up the fields for that dataset. Thanks for the help!
