I built an app using amazon quick APPS this is basically scheduling app with lot of features add in it if it goes into production about 300 end users will use the app to view their schedules. The internal application team is raising question about reliability of using Amazon quick apps for productions and they recommend to build enterprise edition. But the thing the app i created is almost ready (80 to 85%) from stake holder perspective. The push back what they are stating is “Apps built on top of QuickSight and Bedrock are not inherently safe and production ready.” Do you guys think whether this statement is true?
Do you guys face any situation where was not working post production kind of scenarios? I mean technical problem
Hi @sathimag and welcome to the community!
The underlying services that Quick Apps is built on (Quick Sight and Bedrock) are both generally available AWS services. I’d recommend checking the Apps in Quick limitations doc and the Security and sandbox in apps doc to share with your internal team so they can evaluate the specific constraints rather than making a blanket judgment. That might help move the conversation from “is this safe?” to “do these specific limitations affect our use case?”
Hope this helps!
