Is there a way to disable folder sharing?

Quicksight allows you to disable dataset/dashboard/analysis sharing, but I couldn’t seem to find a way to do that for a folder.

Specifically, I have a a shared folder, and want to give a group of users permission to add to the folder. Currently, the only way I have found is to make them the owner of that folder. However I also wish to prevent this group of users from sharing this folder with anyone else or other groups.

Is this possible?

We don’t currently have a role like this. I’ll mark this as a feature request so that the appropriate team can find it

There are two permission available on folder viewer/admin rights.

Correct. And viewers can’t contribute to the folder
