I am struggling to create a top movers component that works outside the confines of the day/week/month definitions it assumes based on the date period selected.
My goal is to have a rolling Top Movers insight based on metrics for the previous 7 days. I have a date filter programmed to a rolling past 7. In the screen below is the result I get when I have a range from 11/7-11/13. It gives me a top movers for the week of 11/10 because that is the most recent “week” in the range.
What I would like to do is calculate top movers for 11/7-11/13 vs 10/31-11/6. Is this possible?
I understand this could be done as a table, but I prefer how narratives present the information and options to conditionally format text based on the results.
Thanks @Giridhar.Prabhu. This is close but doesn’t quite work for what I am doing as it presents the data in a table rather than a narrative.
Why I am particularly focused on the narrative/insight component is its ability to pull forward top/bottom movers and present them in an easy to understand way. I can get the same result with a table, but cant put in the dynamic text that helps users understand why those numbers are displayed.
Hi @tate,
It’s been awhile since last communication on this thread. Checking in to see if you were still working on this and had additional questions or if you were able to find a work around?
If we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll close out this topic.
