Issue with Show Selected values in drop down

I am using parameters with controls as filter. I choose dropdown as style and gave static list as “abcd” and “xyz”. I hide the select all option and defined the default value as “abcd” in parameter. In analysis this works fine. I can open the control and select “show selected values” and when I try to delete the selected value, it always fallback to default value. which is correct, but when I publish the same analysis and do the same on dashboard it deleted the default value also and fallback to “All” which is wrong. It should not fallback to all as I want to select only one and not all.

Some snapshots :-

Not able to delete “abcd”. All good.

In dashboard, doing the above steps till show selected values lead to

Now delete the selected value

It should not fallback to “All”
Opening again is like

@Saurabh while adding the parameter control to sheet, have checked “Hide Select all option” ?

Yes this was checked as shown in one the snapshot.

Further issue it is fine on Analysis but not on dashboard.

@Saurabh Try opening same dashboard from another browser and check if you still have same issue.

If the experience is same, I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. Hope this helps!
