How can I add the hover text of Bar chart on the bars of the Bar Chart itself?

Hello @graphs

You can do it this way as shown in the image below.

  1. In the image i have horizontal bar chart, edit the visual
  2. Properties pane will be opened on the right → Click on the interactions → Tooltip
  3. You can see 2 options basic tooltip and Detailed tooltip in the dropdown! Choose detailed tooltip wherein you can add fields and if you want you can add its aggregation as well!

When you hover on the bars you should see the information of fields that you have added.

I want that tool tip value to be visible on the bars. Is it possible?

Yes it is. As @shravya and myself posted before.

Are you talking about “data labes”? You can only show data labels for the measure of the bar.

But I want to show some other labels as well.Can you put this as a feature-request.

not sure I follow. You want to see multiple data labels for each and every bar in a bar graph?
How would that work? Can you provide an example?
