Hi team,
we want to connect with Opensearch database. But there are lot of limitations with that as mentioned here. Using Amazon OpenSearch Service with Amazon QuickSight - Amazon QuickSight.
Basic support like custom sql support, Calculated fields, Multiple subquery operations are not present with Opensearch.
Will these limitations always be there with quicksight - opensearch? or in future will this be enhanced?
Hi @Deepti - Thanks for highlighting this. AWS Quick Sight is evolving and lots of new features will be added down the line. If you can provide a list of features that should be added in integration with Opensearch with Quick Sight, we can request Quick Sight product team to have a look on this and put the features in the pipeline.
