Hi QS experts !
Hierarchy is currently available for geospatial data, but I was wondering if it is possible to have it for other type of data ?
For instance, instead of having a filter for the country and then a filter for the site (where values are updated once a country is selected), can I have one filter that contains both countries and sites with a kind of dropdown inside ?

Hi Nicolas, Currently QuickSight doesn’t provide hierarchy filter kind of functionality. However we have cascaded filters (Creating cascading filters - Amazon QuickSight) to meet similar requirement. At AWS, our roadmap is primarily driven by our customers. Your feedback helps us build a better service. I have noted this in our internal feature request tracker.

I already use cascaded filters but with a lot of filters it can be confusing for users. That’s why this functionality could help creating user friendly reports.
