Monthly Max Caps Off Despite Extra Credits with Pro Account

Subscribed to Amazon Quick and allowed extra spend which stated it would allow to go over monthly cap. The extra spend only allows to go over daily cap and monthly cap remains. Please fix as this is causing significant challenges and obstructs my ability to be remain a user of only Amazon products and services.

Hi @Matthew2 and welcome to the Quick Community!

From how I understand it, the “extra spend” setting is designed to let you burst past the daily/session rate limit so you don’t get blocked mid-task — it doesn’t override or increase the monthly cap itself. The monthly cap is tied to your plan tier and remains hard-enforced regardless of the extra spend toggle.

Sessions use a rolling window where you can consume up to 25% of your remaining monthly quota per session. So enabling extra spend gives you more room within a session, but once the monthly budget is exhausted, you’re still gated.

A couple things to try:

First, sign out of all AWS/Amazon Quick applications completely and sign back in — there’s a known issue where subscription tier changes don’t fully register until you do this, and your cap may not be reflecting the correct plan.

Second, if your usage genuinely requires more than the monthly cap allows, the path forward is either upgrading your plan tier (Plus → Professional → Enterprise) or opening a support case to request a custom limit increase: https://console.aws.amazon.com/support/home
