Another former PBI user here.
Quicksight really lacks the relationship functionality, this is one of the most basic things for any modern BI tool.

Our company is in the migration process from PBI to QS. It is just unbelievable how poor the functionality of QS is. Most of the basic functions are done via complex and very time consuming workarounds.
I have no idea what is the purpose of pushing AI functionality in the tool which is basically unusable in its current state.

We chose QS as most of our workflows are in AWS. This relationship feature is one of the core components of any analytical product. I am not sure how/why QS does not have answer for this. I am even staggered that Amazon cannot produce a decent analytical product with basic features. There is no point trying to jump on AI bandwagon when this product lacks basic features. This feature request has been raised over 5+ years and its shocking that AWS does not have a solution for this.
At this point, I am thinking of switching to Tableau or PowerBI. Sigh amazon.. expected better from you.
