Named versions and option to revert a version

When editing an Analysis, it’s very easy to lose track of it’s last published version.

It would be SO useful to have an option to save a named version and easily restore it.

This works so well in Google Docs, Matillion and other tools.

Sure, one can “Save as…” a copy but that’s just too noisy.

Hi @Gabriel_R - I’m assuming you want that functionality in the UI, simialr to what exists for DataSets (screenshot), right?

Right now you can achieve what you describe using the APIs when you publish Analyses. The different here being that the Analyses is not version, but when you publish the Analyses a version is created allowing you to rollback (documentation).

OMG, that is beautiful!!! I had no idea it’s there for Datasets.

It’s exactly what I’d like to have! I hope the UI option is coming soon.

Happy you found out something new today @Gabriel_R  .
