Need help with calculating MOM difference

Hi Community

I have a field in AWS quicksight that is called no_of_stores which is ordered by MONTH, I want to create a calculated field that calculates the difference in the number of stores Month to month.

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated

Could you please give me the formula syntax as you would use it in this case

As in the sample periodOverPeriodDifference(sum(no_of_stores), {MONTH})
