when will Neptune be a database source that can connect directly to Quicksight without the use of Athena ?

We can’t provide exact dates in the forum but I can flag this as a feature request.

Hi @Wons,

We have an existing Product Feature Request (Internal link) for Neptune Db connector. You can get your AWS Technical Account Manager (TAM) to add a customer influence to above PFR. Send details on your use case and what’s not working well with the Athena connector so that TAM can include those details. In case your org doesn’t have a TAM assigned, send me the above along with your org details and I will add customer influence on your behalf.
